In these modern times in which we reside in, it is extremely common to confuse reality with thought, facts with theory, and health with confirmation. Real food, which is basically fruit and veggies, nutrition wise at least (as much would argue on the taste factor), may be the foundation of any nutritious diet, not because it is so important and healthy to eat a sensible diet with vegetables in it, but simply because it is food. The others is not food. It may be hard to grasp in the beginning, peeping through the tiny crack that all of us have inside our definitions of what food is, and seeing the reality behind the screen of illusion.
Health, true health, cannot be achieved and maintained in virtually any other way. But what’s health? I dare you! Try to define it for yourselves. Just do it, have a minute, even 5, and really try and jot down a definition you would feel at ease with for the vague and illusive idea of health.

Wellness and health play an enormous and important part in my life, my actions, my thoughts, and my schedule. I am presently leading twelve fitness classes weekly that change from step aerobics, balance and core work on the large stability ball, weight lifting, modified yoga and many classes that focus on functionality.
