Police raid Pattaya seashore bar and arrest 30 customers

Police raided a seaside bar in Pattaya at round 10pm final night time and arrested 30 people for gathering and ingesting alcohol, violating Chon Buri disease control measures which orders bars to remain closed and bans alcohol at restaurants.
Officers on patrol last night heard loud music coming from Lisa on the Beach and located prospects inside dancing and consuming alcohol descreetly from disposable cups. Restricted arrested 30 prospects, both Thai and international, in addition to the owner of the bar.
Priceless and restaurant house owners have been pushing for Chon Buri officials to carry the restrictions to revive Pattaya’s famous nightlife. Police and provincial officers held a meeting earlier this week to handle the concerns and reiterated the rule that eating places could now function until 11pm, but alcohol was still banned.
According to Pattaya News, the city’s mayor, Sonthaya Khunpluem, stated 80% of the inhabitants in Pattaya is absolutely vaccinated against Covid-19 and the Chon Buri Communicable Disease Committee is growing a plan to reopen bars and nightclubs..
